Understanding your natural gas bill and current Energy Choice selection is the first step in making an informed decision. The first thing you will need is to review a copy of your bill. You can pull an electronic copy from Manage Your Account, review your paper bill, or use the reference provided below.

The Current Charges portion of an Energy Choice customer’s bill is divided into two parts:

Dominion Energy Ohio Charges

  • Basic Service Charge
  • Usage Based Charges / MCF
  • Gross Receipts Tax

Supplier Charges

  • Cost of the Gas / MCF
  • Sales Tax

For more information on these terms, please see our Glossary.

Your bill may differ from the bill of others in the Supplier Charges section. The rate plan option and/or supplier reflected in this portion of the bill will vary from one customer to another.

You are likely to see one or more in combination of the following on the Supplier Charges section of the bill:

  • Name of Supplier
